Crawley worked himself into becoming a full-time starting cornerback for New Orleans by the end of the 2017 season, but struggled early on in 2018 and was relegated to a rotational role upon the Oct. 23 acquisition of Eli Apple. The Saints secondary was dissected for 294 passing yards and 2.2 touchdowns per game over its first six games of the season -- with Crawley starting five times -- but from Week 8 to 17 improved to 254 passing yards and 1.7 touchdowns allowed per game.
