Correa was let go by Kansas City on Thursday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Correa saw action in nine games between Jacksonville and Tennessee last season, recording two tackles (one solo) over that span. The Boise State product will now look to add veteran depth to another linebacker corps.

Past Fantasy Outlooks

2016
The 2016 second-rounder was largely a non-factor as a rookie, but he should have more responsibilities thrust upon him in Year 2 with Zach Orr (retirement) no longer occupying the middle linebacker spot next to C.J. Mosley. Correa was a pass-rusher in college, which made for a steep learning curve when he was asked to move inside last season. With a full year under his belt to get accustomed to playing out of the WILL linebacker spot, the time is now for Correa to seize a starting role. His durability and coverage abilities will be tested if he winds up starting, but the opportunity for a high tackle volume makes Correa a potential low-end IDP option at linebacker.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Requests trade
Correa requested a trade after the Titans made him a healthy inactive for Tuesday's win over the Bills, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Correa was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list earlier Tuesday, but the Titans weren't willing to break him back into their rotation at linebacker. He's only handled 39 defensive snaps across three appearances this season and is apparently eager to find an opportunity with a team in need of added depth on the second level. The Titans have reportedly agreed to release Correa if a trade partner can't be found.
