Jackson is currently a free agent and last played for the Patriots. The Maryland product had a rough 2023, which saw him benched by the Chargers, traded to New England where his struggles continued, and then placed on the reserve/non-football illness list due to personal issues.

It's a new era in New England with long-time coach Bill Belichick out and Jerod Mayo now leading the Patriots. As currently constructed, the team has a long way to go to achieve relevance in a stacked AFC.
The Saints are tougher on the boundary than in the slot, which should provoke a big game from Amon-Ra St. Brown.
Chuba Hubbard dominated Carolina's backfield work even with Miles Sanders back in the lineup, and Denver's Javonte Williams returned to a workhorse role against the Chiefs.
Nico Collins and Tank Dell should come roaring out of the bye week against a battered and weak Carolina secondary.

Arguably the marquee defensive free-agent signing last offseason, Jackson's first year in Los Angeles was an unmitigated disaster. The 27-year-old struggled to operate as a true outside corner, failing to tally a single interception in five games before a brutal ruptured patellar tendon ended his season prematurely. Jackson is expected to be healthy by Week 1 and projects to be the team's lockdown corner with Asante Samuel and Michael Davis operating as the other two starters.
