Jake Luton

Luton, a 2020 sixth-round pick, surprisingly started three games for the Jags as a rookie, though he completed only 60 of 110 passes for 624 yards with two touchdowns and six interceptions. The offseason additions of Trevor Lawrence and C.J. Beathard should prevent Luton from being anything more than Jacksonville's No. 3 quarterback, even if Gardner Minshew ends up being traded.

For a couple weeks after the draft, it appeared Luton was set to work as Jacksonville's No. 2 quarterback behind Gardner Minshew, but the signing of Mike Glennon in early May pushes him down the depth chart. A rookie sixth-round pick out of Oregon State, Luton completed 62 percent of his passes for 2,714 yards with 28 touchdowns and three interceptions during his final collegiate season. A decent showing in training camp could convince the Jaguars to carry three quarterbacks on the regular-season roster, thus creating a potential opportunity to move up the depth chart for the 24-year-old.
