Latest Fantasy Rumors
Option to be declined by Big Blue?
Marc Ross of NFL.com believes the Giants should decline Neal's fifth-year rookie option before the May 1 deadline.
ANALYSIS
Neal was the Giants' second first-round selection in the 2022 NFL Draft, having taken Kayvon Thibodeaux with the No. 5 overall pick. Neal started in 13 games during his rookie season, but he missed the second half of the 2023 regular season due to a left ankle sprain. He began the 2024 campaign as a reserve and started in just seven games, and Ross believes Neal hasn't been effective enough -- especially in pass blocking -- to warrant his fifth-year option being picked up by the Giants.
