ANALYSIS
Edwards ran 40 routes for the Saints through two preseason games, but he caught just three of nine targets for 37 scoreless yards. He was held without a catch on four targets against the Chargers on Sunday night. Edwards spent parts of 2022 with the Falcons and Chiefs, and will now look for his fifth NFL team.

2020
The Falcons signed a trio of free-agent wideouts this offseason and drafted Drake London with the eighth overall pick in the 2022 Draft, but they continued to add to their pass-catching depth by trading for Edwards in May. The 2020 third-round pick finished his second season in Las Vegas with 34 receptions, 571 yards and three touchdowns, but he faced an uphill battle for targets after the Raiders added Davante Adams to pair with TE Darren Waller and WR Hunter Renfrow. Despite a slow start to his career, Edwards has a chance to alter his trajectory as a pro in Atlanta if he can win the No. 2 wideout spot opposite London. However, the Falcons offense isn't expected to be in the top half of the league, so it'll be difficult for the Marcus Mariota-led group to produce multiple fantasy starters.
The 81st pick in the 2020 draft, Edwards had a low-impact rookie year, missing four games with a foot injury and eclipsing two targets only once all year. At 6-3, 212, he has excellent size, and while he didn't run in the NFL Combine, he's got good speed for a big receiver. He should get another chance this year in a wide-open receiving corps. Last year's 12th overall pick Henry Ruggs has yet to establish himself, last year's top wideout Nelson Agholor is gone and offseason addition John Brown didn't make the 53-man roster, so Edwards only has to compete with Ruggs and slot man Hunter Renfrow for WR targets.
Four years of production at South Carolina included over 3,000 total receiving yards and no less than four touchdowns in a given season, but a broken foot kept Edwards out of the 2020 NFL Combine and he ultimately fell to the Raiders at No. 81 overall in the draft. The issue shouldn't linger into training camp, but Edwards faces stiff competition for targets as Las Vegas spent their first pick on Henry Ruggs to complement Tyrell Williams and slot receiver Hunter Renfrow, while tight end Darren Waller draws plenty of attention as well. Williams dealt with nagging plantar fasciitis in 2019, however, so the selection of the 6-foot-3, 212 pound Edwards selection provides the team with insurance on the outside.

Edwards visited with the Giants on Thursday, according to Jordan Schultz of theScore.
ANALYSIS
Edwards had 571 yards and three touchdowns for the Raiders in 2021 but caught only three passes for 15 yards with Atlanta in 2022. The 24-year-old wide receiver could get more opportunities if he lands with the Giants given the uncertainty of their wide receiver depth chart heading into the draft.
