Rest-of-Season Projections
2024 Fantasy Outlook
When a quarterback gets drafted in the sixth round, his likelihood of making an impact is minimal. It's additionally difficult when that signal-caller gets drafted to a team that already has an MVP at that position who is under contract for several years to come. That's Devin Leary's lot in Baltimore. Leary was a productive player over five collegiate seasons - four at North Carolina State and one at Kentucky - but he never truly built on his career-best season in 2021 when he had 35 touchdowns and five interceptions. Tyler Huntley's departure in free agency gives Leary some semblance of a path to being Lamar Jackson's backup eventually, but there's little more than that on the table. Read Past Outlooks
Staying in Baltimore
Leary signed with the Ravens' practice squad Wednesday, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Leary was a sixth-round selection for Baltimore in the 2024 Draft, but he was unable to beat out Josh Johnson for the No. 2 spot behind starter Lamar Jackson in camp. Instead, he'll serve as the No. 3 quarterback option while on the practice squad.
