Streveler is working out for the Bears on Thursday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Streveler has remained a free agent since being waived by the Jets with an injury settlement during training camp. After returning to full health, the South Dakota product had a workout with the 49ers in November, but he was unable to turn that into a new deal.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Streveler made one start for the Jets in 2022 after Zach Wilson was benched and Mike White got hurt. The 28-year-old quarterback is a willing runner and tough competitor, but he lacks the arm strength and accuracy to find consistent success at the NFL level. Streveler's likely to wind up on New York's practice squad, with Aaron Rodgers and Wilson both comfortably ahead of him on the depth chart.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Inserted as change-of-pace option
Streveler's insertion into the Jets' 19-3 loss to the Jaguars on Thursday night was an effort by head coach Robert Saleh to provide a spark to the offense as a whole, but not meant as a benching of Zach Wilson, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Streveler indeed helped pump life into the Jets' offense, doing so nearly as much with his work on the ground as through the air. The highly mobile signal-caller's 54 rushing yards actually paced New York on the night, and he also completed 10 of 15 passes for 90 yards. However, Saleh emphasized to reporters that he originally didn't intend for Streveler to finish the game, perhaps preemptively trying to diffuse any talk of Wilson being demoted yet again.
