ANALYSIS
With C.J. Gardner-Johnson (abdomen) on the injured reserve list, the Eagles saw fit to bring the veteran Harris on board to potentially provide some depth at safety during the home stretch of the season. And with Reed Blankenship (knee) also questionable for Sunday's game at Chicago, Philadelphia could opt to elevate Harris sooner rather than later.

The 30-year-old, was re-signed to a one year deal in March and is thus set to reprise his role as a starting safety for Philadelphia alongside either Marcus Epps or Jaquiski Tartt.
