Brown posted career highs in tackles (71), interceptions (three) and passes defended (17) in 2021 while starting 16 games, giving the Cowboys solid play opposite Trevon Diggs. The veteran corner is heading into the final year of his contract and could be challenged by second-year player Kelvin Joseph, but if Brown retains his starting job he again should be able to post decent numbers, especially if Diggs takes another step forward and the opposition begins shying away from challenging him.

If he's fully recovered, Brown could provide some valuable depth in the Jets secondary behind Sauce Gardner, D.J. Reed and Michael Carter.
