Indianapolis waived Rodgers on Friday.
ANALYSIS
Rodgers logged a season-high 20 offensive snaps Week 6 versus Jacksonville, but he saw only two targets and didn't bring in either one. Those were the only two targets the wideout was gotten over three contests on the campaign. The Colts claimed cornerback Ameer Speed off waivers from New England in a move corresponding with Rodgers' departure.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2022
2021
Rodgers was selected in the third round of the 2021 Draft, but he wound up buried on the depth chart and played only 99 snaps on offense in his rookie year. He did see some work in the return game but made little impact there as well. A couple veteran wideouts - most notably Davante Adams - moved on in the offseason, opening up some opportunities in the receiving corps. However, the Packers brought in several other players at the same position, so Rodgers finds himself in roughly the same spot he was last season, competing with a number of players for snaps. He at least will be more familiar in his surroundings as he tries to make a bigger impact in Year 2.
After topping the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his collegiate career in 2020, Rodgers was selected by the Packers in the third round of this year's draft. Although he was the No. 1 wideout on one of the top teams in the land, his lack of height and elite speed led to him being available at No. 85 overall. Though he stands only 5-9, Rodgers does check in at over 200 pounds, so he has the frame to hold up in close quarters. The Packers still have three receivers who frequently played last year as well as July trade acquisition Randall Cobb, so Rodgers won't be guaranteed a regular role. However, he does bring something different to the table than his fellow wideouts do, and he at the least should be an upgrade in the gadget spot in which the Packers used Tyler Ervin and Tavon Austin last season.

Had interest from Panthers
WRHouston Texans
November 18, 2022
The Panthers also put in a waiver claim on Rodgers, who landed with the Texans after being waived by the Packers, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Rodgers' fumbling issues and inability to contribute on offense led to the end of his tenure in Green Bay, but he landed on a team with minimal wide receiver depth ahead of him in Houston. The same would have been true had he instead gone to Carolina, so it makes sense that the Panthers were willing to kick the tires on the 2021 third-round draft pick.
