Snags deal with Titans
Mack, who put together a solid season with the XFL's San Antonio Brahmas this spring, signed a deal with the Titans on Wednesday, ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
A seventh-round pick of the Saints back in 2019, Mack is still waiting to log his first regular-season NFL action but has put in time with four different practice squads. Additionally, he garnered plenty of valuable reps throughout the XFL's 10-game regular season despite sharing the tight end position with a player with NFL regular-season experience in Deon Yelder, finishing with 28 receptions for 230 yards and a touchdown. Mack has some athletic qualities reminiscent of Tennessee's top tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo, but he'll have to presumably outperform rookie fifth-round pick Josh Whyle to have a shot at No. 2 duties in 2023.
