Ends season on injured reserve
LBChicago Bears
Knee
January 9, 2022
Marsh (knee) was placed on injured reserve on December 10, and he ended the season with six tackles and a sack in four games.
ANALYSIS
Marsh averaged fewer than 10 snaps per game. He'll be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but as he goes into his age-29 season, he's played on eight teams over his seven-year career, and it's unlikely he'll find enough of a role to become a solid IDP option.

Past Fantasy Outlooks

2014
Marsh joined Jacksonville on a one-year deal in March, which marks his fifth team over the past five seasons. The 2014 fourth-round pick totaled 36 tackles and 2.5 sacks with the Cardinals last season, and he's likely to work at strong-side linebacker for the Jaguars. Marsh is unlikely to fill a three-down role while Joe Schobert and Myles Jack remain healthy, limiting any IDP potential.
Marsh saw a promising rookie season end on injured reserve last season in Week 6. Healthy entering training camp, Marsh will play in a reserve DE spot, but should get plenty of playing time as the Seahawks rotate their D-Line to keep players fresh. This is an important year for him to prove he can be more than a backup.
A 2014 fourth-round pick, Marsh has a good opportunity for playing time this season. The Seahawks need to replace the QB pressure the departed Chris Clemons provided, and Marsh might be the best of the reserve defensive ends. He's one to watch in training camp.
