A longtime standout safety for the Titans, Griffin heads to Minnesota to compete for a starting safety role next to Smith. He would seem to be the general favorite given his pedigree, even if he struggled for the Titans in recent years. So long as he earns the starting job, Griffin will be an intriguing gamble playing fora Minnesota defense that should be able to create turnovers. He would likely also produce well in the tackle category, as he has 213 over the last two years, and Andrew Sendejo showed the ability to pile up tackles in the role last year.
