ANALYSIS
One of the top cover men in NFL history, Revis played eight of his 11 seasons with the Jets and won a Super Bowl with the Patriots in 2014. He handled a significant role for the Chiefs in December and January, but he hasn't played at a high level since 2015, the first year of his second stint in New York. The 33-year-old cornerback finishes his career with 497 tackles, 140 passes defended and 29 interceptions in 145 regular-season games. He's a lock for the Hall of Fame and arguably the best cornerback of his generation.

Revis may have taken a small step back last season, but he remains one of the better man-to-man cover corners in the NFL. That being said, with that comes few passes thrown his way, which limits his opportunities for interceptions, and he doesn't rack up a high number of tackles, limiting his fantasy value overall.
Revis returns to the Jets in 2015 after a 2014 campaign with the Patriots in which he recorded 47 tackles, 14 passes defensed, two picks, and one forced fumble. The 30-year-old heads into his ninth season, and remains one of the league's elite shut-down corners, but isn't a great IDP option due to the fact that opposing quarterbacks are hesitant to throw his way because of the lock-down coverage. He'll lead the Jets' cornerback corps in 2015 alongside fellow offseason additions Antonio Cromartie and Buster Skrine.
In his only season with the Bucs after signing a lucrative deal with the team, Revis recorded 50 tackles and two picks. Now that he's further removed from the ACL injury that ended his 2012 season, he's poised to anchor the Patriots' secondary while manning the team's left cornerback slot previously held by Aqib Talib.
Revis moves to Tampa Bay and the NFC South, home to pass-first offenses of New Orleans and Atlanta and their elite quarterback and wide receiver combos. Revis will look to bounce back off a knee injury that ended his 2012 season in September.
Minor hamstring issues aside, he'll be in full control of Revis Island again this season. While alone he's not a very valuable IDP player, on the defensive whole, his presence means a lot.
Revis will continue to be a shut down corner but due to the avoidance of his side of the field by quarterbacks, will not be much of an IDP factor
Revis might be the premier shutdown corner in the game today, but it's going to affect his takeaway stats - teams don't want to challenge him. Bottom line, he's far more valuable to the Jets than he is to IDP players.
Revis, who starts at left cornerback for the Jets, racked up 58 tackles and five picks in 2008, en route to a Pro Bowl selection.
Revis played well enough as a rookie to be locked in as a starting corner for the Jets in 2008. He collected three picks and 87 tackles in 2007. Revis should see improvements across the board as he continues to round into form.
He's pushing for a starting spot as a rookie, and we might see Revis on the punt-return team as well.
