The Ravens have terminated Leach's contract, the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Linebacker Jameel McClain was also let go Thursday, as the Ravens made the moves to clear up salary cap space in advance of free agency. Leach should catch on elsewhere thanks to his blocking skills, with his departure paving the way for Kyle Juszcyk to see added duties for the Ravens in 2014.

Leach was released by the Baltimore Ravens and is currently looking for a new team. The excellent blocker will certainly help a team's running game if they elect to use his services.
Leach was released and then re-signed by the Ravens this offseason. He'll start at fullback, which is good news for Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce.
Leach is entrenched as the starting fullback. He won't see the ball very often, but should pave the way for plenty of Ray Rice rushing yards.
The Ravens brought in Leach to be a true road-grader for Ray Rice and Ricky Williams. He has just three carries in nine seasons however, so don't expect anything fantasy-wise.
Leach will be the Texans' starting full back. That doesn't mean much in the running game, but Leach has been a threat as a receiver.
Leach is the starter at fullback and is valuable blocker for Steve Slaton. He can catch the ball out of the backfield (35 catches in 32 games with Houston), but he's not a feature on offense.
Leach will be Houston's starting fullback. The position is used as a blocker for the whichever running back happens to be in the game, but the Houston offense uses the fullback out of the backfield as a receiving target. It's nothing to warrant fantasy consideration, but there's an opportunity for Leach to score (two receiving TDs in 2007).
The Texans think a lot of Leach as a lead blocker and matched an offer sheet he was given by the Giants. He'll be the starter at fullback, but will get little chance to do much for fantasy teams.
Leach will try to make the team as a backup fullback.
