Although the Vikings and Saints expressed interest in signing Garcia, he's set to sign with the Omaha Nighthawks of the United Football League. "Minnesota had called him and said 'if (Brett) Favre doesn't play are you ready to go?,'" Bobby Garcia, Jeff's father, told the Gilroy Dispatch. "But, you know what? Favre is going to play."
