Ducasse was released by the Bills on Sunday.

ANALYSIS
The team has a large quantity of new offensive linemen, so Ducasse will be one of the guys from last season replaced by a new face. The veteran started a handful of games last season, but was considered a poor performer by most analysts, though the shambles of the team's O-Line as a whole probably didn't help.

Signed to a one-year minimum contract by the Bears in March, Ducasse’s 63 games worth of NFL experience likely give him an edge over his training-camp competition in winning a reserve role. The former second-round pick is likely to serve as the top option behind either Kyle Long or Matt Slauson, the latter of whom he backed up for three seasons during his time with the Jets.
