January 16, 2014
Scott finished the 2014 season with 14 yards on four carries and another 10 yards on two receptions.
ANALYSIS
Scott was waived by the Bengals in September, then joined the division rival Ravens in October. He wasn't active for any games with Cincinnati and didn't make an appearances for Baltimore until Week 16. He'll likely be aiming for a No. 3 running back job in 2014, after registering just 14 touches over the last two seasons.

After commanding only 12 carries over the past two seasons and entering the year at 30 years-of-age, Scott will have a hard time finding work in 2014.
Scott will serve as a backup to BenJarvus Green-Ellis and rookie Giovani Bernard in Cincy.
Scott saw his YPC drop from 4.9 in 2010 to 3.4 last season, but it's never easy having to face the Ravens and Steelers in 25 percent of your contests. Cedric Benson is gone, but the Bengals added BenJarvus Green-Ellis, who's a very similar replacement. Green-Ellis enters as the favorite for carries and should dominate goal-line work, but Scott is the more elusive option with more playmaking ability. Moreover, we've yet to see how Green-Ellis performs without the benefit of defenses focusing primarily on stopping Tom Brady. Scott is an interesting late-round flier.
Scott produces when given the chance, but he’s viewed as nothing more than a change-of-pace back used sparingly as the Bengals feed Cedric Benson the vast majority of the carries. Benson could break down at any moment, but the team probably doesn’t view Scott as a lead back, so he’d remain in a timeshare even if Benson were to suffer a serious injury. But at press time, he’s the best Benson insurance policy.
Scott will once again be the top backup behind Benson. He had his flashes of brilliance last year, but virtually all of his production came with Benson hurt. Once Benson demonstrated that he was healthy, Scott got buried on the bench again. If Benson wears down under the workload, Scott could see a second-half surge in carries, and will also be integral in the return game.
Scott was voted the Division II player of the year his senior season after rushing for 2,156 yards and 28 touchdowns. He has excellent quickness and vision, and could be a solid complement to Cedric Benson in Cincinnati. That's the good news. The Bad? He's been arrested at least five times. Nonetheless, he's a sleeper to take over the backup duties behind Cedric Benson and also contribute in the return game.
