ANALYSIS
Jenkins was brought in at the beginning of training camp as the Cardinals looked to strengthen the depth of their defensive backfield. However, the veteran suffered an ACL injury in Sunday's preseason game and had to be carted off the field. At 31, it's tough to guess where Jenkins will go from here and if he'll be revitalize his career after a year on the sidelines.

Hamstring and pectoral injuries cost Jenkins the season in 2014, but the expected starter from last year appears healthy and will battle Johnthan Banks for a starting spot opposite Alterraun Verner.
Jenkins, who has been a starting corner much of his career, has the ability to push Johnathan Banks for starting job. However, he will most likely be a nickel/dime package guy in 2014.
Jenkins' tenure in Dallas was a major disappointment, but he'll look to start anew in Oakland in 2013. The 28-year-old was listed as a starter on the team's unofficial depth chart early in camp, and he figures to play a significant role with the club, but don't be surprised if rookie D.J. Hayden eventually supplants Jenkins on the outside.
Former first round pick battled through another disappointing, injury-plagued season in 2011 and lost his starting spot when the Cowboys brought in Brandon Carr and Morris Claiborne. If he's healthy in training camp he could be trade bait, but more likely he'll supply depth at cornerback behind the newcomers.
Jenkins took a big step back in 2010, but he has the talent (and the job security) to rebound and help stabilize a shaky Cowboys secondary if he can stay healthy and focused.
Second-year corner will have to fight off fellow sophomore Orlando Scandrick for a starting spot opposite Terence Newman.
Rookie will provide secondary depth.
