ANALYSIS
Kelly is definitely a player who could use a fresh start, but don't expect a bidding war for his services to ensue.

2008
Will Kelly ever be healthy for an NFL season? His 2010 season ended before it started when he landed on the IR before the regular season started. 2011 maybe Kelly's last chance with the Redskins. He has an uphill battle as the team brought in several wide receivers this year to compete.
Kelly began 2009 as a starting wideout but quickly lost his job due to ineffectiveness. He dealt with a thumb injury most of the year that made it difficult to catch the ball. He starts 2010 further down the depth chart but has the phyiscal size Head Coach Mike Shanahan likes in a receiver. He will have to improve his route running and stay healthy, something he has failed to do thus far in his career.
A second round draft pick in 2008 he suffered through knee injuries all season. He underwent surgery in the offseason and is expected to be ready for training camp. There are concerns the injury is chronic. Check during training camp to see how far he has progressed. If healthy Kelly is a large target with exceptional hands. He could provide the 'Skins with the red zone target they sorely need.
Thomas is a rookie receiver with excellent size to balance out the diminutive Santana Moss and Antwaan Randle El, Kelly and Devin Thomas will battle for the third wide receiver job, but keep in mind Moss is highly injury prone, and Randle El is probably more suited to the slot anyway. The Redskins could also be more of a pass-friendly offense under new coach Jim Zorn.
