Tries out with Arizona
The Cardinals worked out Senat (undisclosed) on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
ANALYSIS
Senat was unable to catch on with the Ravens' 53-man roster at the conclusion of training camp, and he was waived with an injury settlement due to an undisclosed issue. He appears to be healthy and is attempting to catch on with the Cardinals as a depth defensive tackle, a possible indication that Khyiris Tonga is expected to be sidelined due to a knee injury he sustained Sunday against the Lions. Senat, who was drafted by the Falcons in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft, played in three regular-season games for the Buccaneers in 2023 and finished with one solo tackle while playing 23 snaps (18 on defense, five on special teams).

2018 Fantasy Outlook
Senat will be playing motivated football with the support of his teammates this season, as he has overcome unthinkable tragedy and misfortune to make it to an NFL training camp, losing both parents within the last couple of years. The 24-year-old admitted to the Tampa Bay Times in December that he "wasn't (always) around the guys who lived life right" during his childhood and early adolescence, but with encouragement from his pastor as well as a local Immokalee, Florida legend by the name of Izzy Gallegos, Senat began playing organized football for the first time in high school. Senat developed into a four-star recruit and went on to earn an offer to play for South Florida, where he became one of the better run defenders in the nation (10.5 tackles for loss as a senior). Now a member of the Falcons and playing alongside a trio of young, ultra-talented defensive linemen in Grady Jarrett, Vic Beasley and Takkarist McKinley, Senat is in an ideal spot to learn and prosper in the NFL, perhaps even capable of becoming a starter at defensive tackle by season's end.
