Rest-of-Season Projections
Set to retire
The Titans have announced that Johnson is retiring, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
Johnson, a 2015 first-round pick, spent his first four seasons with the Texans before playing the previous two in Buffalo and Cleveland. He signed a one-year contract with the Titans in March but has not participated in any of the team's OTAs. We now have an answer why, as he has seemingly been contemplating retirement. The 28-year-old will end his career with 191 tackles (145 solo), 1.5 sacks, 22 passes defensed and one interception across 64 games.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2016
2015
Johnson had a successful rookie season, starting 10 games and appearing in all 16 and finishing seventh in tackles with 54. He’s working his way back from two offseason surgeries – one on his wrist and the other his foot. He’s regaining his health during training camp and has improved with each passing day. The second-year veteran from Wake Forest is probably the most physical cornerback on the roster and will be the third DB, which in today’s NFL is nearly every down. Expect improved play during his second season as he gains a better understanding of the defense.
