Hastings caught 26 passes for 525 yards and four touchdowns in 2017, but suffered a major knee injury in the spring of last year. His attempted comeback never materialized, as he re-injured the knee in October and was forced to undergo a second surgery. Now close to a year later, Hastings is expected to be available for the fall, but it remains to be seen if he can return to his previous form. On the plus side for him, the Tigers lost about 100 receptions to the NFL with the departures of Ryan Davis and Darius Slayton, so there could be a sizable void for Hastings to step into if he can prove he is healthy.
