Declares for NFL Draft
Walker announced via his personal Twitter account that he has declared for the 2021 NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
Walker briefly committed to transfer from San Jose State to Mississippi State earlier this month, but it looks like he's ultimately decided to forego his final season of eligibility and instead move on to the pro level. As a junior in 2019 the wideout managed 79 catches for 1,161 yards and two touchdowns, but he saw a slight downtick in production in 2020 with just 45 catches for 627 yards and four scores.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2020
2019
San Jose State is a sneaky source of passing game production, having ranked second in the nation in passing play rate and fourth in passing yards in 2019. There's a change at quarterback there, but it could be for the better with Nick Starkel transferring in from Arkansas. Regardless, San Jose State is going to chuck it, and Walker is the team's primary target. He drew 118 targets in 2019, catching 79 of them for 1,161 yards and two touchdowns. Even if the volume stays flat or has a modest increase, it's possible that Walker sees some positive regression in the touchdown department after his minuscule TD rate last season. Walker is a strong PPR option who could have real staying power in standard formats too if the touchdowns catch up to the historical norms for receivers with his type of volume, YPT, and catch rate.
