2021 Fantasy Outlook
Maryland's top running back spot is up for grabs after Jake Funk's departure for the NFL and Fleet-Davis has pole position in securing the job heading into fall camp. 2020 was something of a lost season for Fleet-Davis as he was limited to just one game following an off-field issue. This allowed young backs like Isaiah Jacobs and Peny Boone to leave impressions on the coaching staff, but now that Fleet-Davis is back and in good standing, he has a very good chance at seizing the No.1 spot on the depth chart. Well-built at 6-foot, 220 pounds, Fleet-Davis is a powerful back who can run between the tackles and be a presence down near the goal line. All of that said, Maryland has a deep stable of backs and if Fleet-Davis does not perform well out of the gate, the Terrapins could lean on the aforementioned younger tandem.
