Decent in bowl start
December 28, 2024
Hudson was 17-for-26 passing for 173 yards and two touchdowns in Monday's 44-15 loss to Texas-San Antonio. He also had 12 rushes for 15 yards.
ANALYSIS
With both Ethan Vasko and Noah Kim entering the transfer portal, Hudson got the call under center for his first collegiate start in the Myrtle Beach Bowl. While the Chanticleers couldn't get much going offensively in a lopsided defeat, Hudson put up solid numbers overall, completing 65.4 percent of his throws, including a pair of touchdowns. While Coastal Carolina figures to bring in some competition in the offseason, Hudson is the current favorite to open the 2025 campaign as the starter.
