Commits to Wake Forest
January 3, 2025
Berkhalter announced his commitment to Wake Forest on Friday.
ANALYSIS
Before the Berkhalter announcement, Wake Forest's receiver corps had a lot of ground to make up. The 2024 Demon Deacons' top-four wideouts are expected to be enrolled elsewhere during 2025. Berkhalter's past season indicated he can be a capable receiver for an FBS team, as the redshirt junior logged 11 receptions for 191 yards and one touchdown with Cincinnati. There is room for him to be a top wideout, though that will depend on the 2025 Demon Deacons' other WR additions and overall scheme.
