Bowman announced Sunday via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to Rutgers, joining the program as a graduate transfer from FCS Maine.

Though he'll be making the jump up from the FCS ranks to a Power Five program, Bowman should head into the 2023 season as the favorite to emerge as Rutgers' starting tight end. The 6-foot-5, 263-pound Bowman was a standout performer during his four-year run at Maine, compiling 86 receptions for 960 yards and 11 touchdowns.
