2021 Fantasy Outlook
Shivers will reprise his role as a reserve running back behind reigning SEC Freshman of the Year Tank Bigsby in 2021. Shivers has never amassed more than 70 rushes in a season during his time at Auburn, and he averaged a career-low 4.5 yards per carry as a junior in 2020. Shivers found the end zone just once last season, and has seven total touchdowns in his previous three seasons as a member of the Tigers. Shivers is a smaller running back at just 5-foot-7, 180-lbs, and should serve as a change-of-pace option for the bigger, bruising Bigsby. The only possible intrigue for Shivers is the installation of a new offense under former Boise State head coach Bryan Harsin, as Shivers could be used much more in the passing game than he was during the prior tenure of Gus Malzahn.
