Randle will enter the 2012 NFL Draft, the Shreveport Times reports.

ANALYSIS
As a former five-star recruit, Randle should be expected to test very well in predraft workouts. Expected to measure in around the 6-foot-3, 210-pound range (listed at 6-foot-4, 208 by LSU), Randle has some questions to answer regarding his lack of productivity -- his 917-yard, eight-touchdown season in 2011 was his only noteworthy showing in three seasons at LSU -- but look for that to be attributed to the Tigers' weak quarterback play rather than Randle. He'll be in the thick of the competition with Alshon Jeffery, Kendall Wright, Mohamed Sanu and Michael Floyd to be the second wide receiver selected after Justin Blackmon.

The LSU passing game as a whole is a dangerous territory to approach as a fantasy owner, primarily because instability at quarterback. But if Jordan Jefferson does show improvement this year, Randle has the talent to produce in response.

Randle is enormously talented and would likely have a shot at the No. 1 wideout spot at most schools. Alas, LSU is perennially loaded at the position and Randle will have to settle for being an oft-used No. 3. He showed his potential with two touchdowns against Ole Miss last season, but those were his only two scores of the season and he finished the year with 11 receptions for 173 yards. He's worth a depth pick in SEC-only leagues.
