ANALYSIS
Look for Griffin to be the second QB taken after Andrew Luck come April. Like so many young QB's, his mechanics could use some work, but he's a playmaker who who can get it done with his arm or his legs, and he has the necessary smarts and intangibles to develop as a pro.

Griffin had no trouble returning from his 2009 ACL tear last year, throwing for 3,501 yards and 22 touchdowns while running for 635 yards and eight touchdowns. But given that he was only one year removed from the injury, it might be reasonable to expect improvement in 2011. Griffin’s top two receivers (Kendall Wright and Josh Gordon) are both back, and he should be a bit sharper with another offseason to get his knee in shape.
Griffin is a brilliant player whose 2009 season was cut far too short with a knee injury. He completed 45-of-69 passes for 481 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 77 yards and two touchdowns in the three games he played, and that was after a fantastic freshman season in 2008. Look for Griffin to resume his role as one of the nation's best in 2010, and don't be surprised if he winds up being the top fantasy quarterback in the Big 12 not named Jerrod Johnson.
