Briggs has been ruled out for the entire 2024 season, Trent Wood of The Deseret reports.
ANALYSIS
Briggs suffered the leg injury in the Week 1 contest against Robert Morris, and he won't return for the rest of the campaign. He has already undergone surgery, though, so he's slated to start working on his recovery process very soon. Briggs was expected to play a significant role in Utah State's offense as part of a veteran and proven running back duo with Rahsul Faison. Instead, Jonathan Baird and Corbin Cottle are expected to have larger roles out of the backfield going forward.
