After failing to catch on as a quarterback with the Miami Hurricanes, Perry decided to move a few miles to try and catch on with the Owls of Florida Atlantic. He was named the starting quarterback for the 2021 season and showed that he was perhaps a better fit for the Conference USA level of play. Perry completed 60.7 percent of his passes and threw 20 touchdowns against seven interceptions. In one season, he almost matched his touchdown total from his entire time with Miami. It's safe to say Perry is secure in the top job with the Owls, and he has his primary targets from 2021 back as well. This year could be even better for him.
