McKenzie Milton

Milton’s history at UCF is well known, so his potential as Florida State’s 2021 starter is only limited by his health and confidence. He was cleared for spring practice, so presumably the former is a thing of the past after a gruesome knee injury late in 2018. But reports during spring were the former wasn’t there, as his passes weren’t accurate nor had he fully grasped his new playbook. Much of that can and likely will improve during the offseason, but it’s also possible Milton is eased into action in September with FSU still having mobile Jordan Travis as an option. Travis reportedly showed growth as a passer during the spring, so there's no guarantee Milton is the team's Week 1 starter. There’s plenty of question marks here, but Milton’s upside is in doubt, nor is head coach Mike Norvell’s ability to have a fantasy friendly offense from his time at Memphis. It’s a situation to monitor in August and an ultimate risk/reward pick.
