He elected to enter the transfer portal before his senior year and joins a Memphis squad that has produced numerous NFL talents at the running back position. Anderson accrued 24 rushes for 177 yards and one touchdown and caught all two targets for negative four yards during Thursday's 34-24 victory over Tulane.

Anderson had yet another strong performance to end the 2024 regular season. He rushed for 177 yards, his second most in a game this season, and scored his 19th touchdown of the season. He was one of the most productive running backs in the country this season, finishing the year with 1,292 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns and catching 46 passes for 290 yards and two touchdowns. He will have one more game with the Tigers during bowl season.
