The wide receiver-turned-quarterback has decided to leave school early to pursue a career in the NFL. After injuries knocked out all of Kentucky's quarterback options early in the season, the team turned to Bowden as the starting quarterback Week 7. In eight weeks as the starter, Bowden produced an incredible 1,369 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground while throwing for 364 yards and three touchdowns. He capped the remarkable season by rushing for 233 yards and two touchdowns in a 37-30 victory over Virginia Tech in the Belk Bowl on Tuesday. Bowden will enter the draft as a wide receiver, but he may have hurt his stock by switching to quarterback midseason, as he denied pro scouts the opportunity to evaluate his progress as a pass-catcher.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
Bowden stood tall for the Wildcats during their magical 2018 campaign, leading the squad with 67 catches for 745 yards and five touchdowns. In fact, Bowden finished fifth in the entire conference in receptions, and 10th among wide receivers in receiving yardage. The Wildcats are still expected to rely largely on the run with Terry Wilson at the helm and A.J. Rose stepping in for Benny Snell, but Bowden will be the top target when Kentucky goes to the air. Bowden accounted for more than a third of Wilson's completions last year, so he will assuredly be heavily targeted once again in 2019.
