Rather than returning to Ann Arbor for a sixth season, the fifth-year senior tight end will instead move on the professional ranks. The 6-foot-6, 250-pound Schoonmaker offers ideal size at tight end, and his ability to make an impact both as a run blocker and pass catcher could be enough for him to be selected as high as the second round of the draft. Schoonmaker finished his redshirt senior campaign with 35 receptions for 418 yards and three touchdowns on 48 targets.
