Lawrence Cager

Cager was inconsistent throughout his sophomore season, logging 16 grabs for 237 yards (14.8 YPC) and three touchdowns through eight games. Despite this, he appears to be in line for an uptick in production as the No. 2 wideout behind Ahmmon Richards, especially with the graduation of Braxton Berrios, who accounted for 24 percent of Miami's receptions: Cager certainly has a chance to work his way into a similar role. The Hurricanes run a fairly balanced scheme (52.61 pass play percentage) which should provide Cager with ample chances to solidify himself as a reliable option at wideout. However, Jeff Thomas is a similarly talented wideout that will challenge Cager for the No. 2 role behind Richards.
