Past Fantasy Outlooks
2022
2019
Carter handled a sizeable role with the Cougars in 2021, totaling 26 receptions for 331 yards and a touchdown across nine games. His season was cut short due to a foot injury suffered against South Florida. Carter underwent a successful foot surgery in November, and he will be ready to start the 2022 season with no hinderance. The senior wideout will have additional opportunities available as Jeremy Singleton (29 receptions for 495 yards and five touchdowns in 2021) has transferred to Georgia Southern and Jake Herslow (36 receptions for 480 yards and five touchdowns in 2021) has been signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Seahawks. These vacated targets will not come easy for Carter as he will need to compete with incoming four-star freshman, Matthew Golden, along with West Virginia sophomore-transfer Sam Brown and USC sophomore-transfer Joseph Manjack. Carter’s experience and established chemistry with quarterback Clayton Tune figures to give him an edge in the battle for vacated targets in 2022.
