Heading to professional ranks
Jackson announced Saturday via his personal Twitter account that he will forgo a return to Georgia during the upcoming season to enter the 2023 NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
Jackson will call an end to his collegiate career after four seasons with Georgia. The six-foot wideout led the team in receptions during his career-best 2020 campaign, hauling in 36 of 55 targets for 514 yards and three touchdowns over 10 games. However, his role decreased over his final two seasons, as he recorded 38 receptions (on 59 targets) for 521 yards and three touchdowns during that span. Jackson still served as the Bulldogs' primary punt returner this season, and he'll likely rely on his special-teams experience to raise his stock during the pre-draft process.

2021 Fantasy Outlook
Jackson becomes the surefire No. 1 wideout for the Bulldogs after George Pickens tore his ACL in spring practice. The production for the pair was about equal in 2020, with both reeling in 36 catches, both averaging 14.3 yards per reception, and Jackson outgaining Pickens by a single yard through the air (514 to 513). With Pickens likely shelved for the majority of the 2021 campaign, Jackson should see a plethora of balls thrown his way from quarterback JT Daniels, though Jermaine Burton will also help shoulder some of the load vacated by the injury to Pickens.
