Leaving school for draft
January 2, 2022
Pimpleton announced Sunday via his his personal Twitter account that he will forgo his remaining eligibility at Central Michigan to enter the 2022 NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
A fifth-year junior this past fall, Pimpleton enjoyed a career-best season for the Chippewas, posting 61 receptions for 936 yards and four touchdowns. The 5-foot-9, 175-pound wideout likely wouldn't have been able to do much for his draft stock by sticking around at Central Michigan for another year, so he'll instead embark on a professional career.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2020
2019
After sitting out 2018 as a transfer from Virginia Tech, Pimpleton arrived at CMU under Jim McElwain and produced nicely (82 catches for 894 yards and six touchdowns, on 122 targets). There will be a new quarterback for the Chippewas this year, with Ty Brock looking like the favorite to start, but Pimpleton should see plenty of targets again.
A transfer from Virginia Tech who sat out last season, Pimpleton becomes eligible to play at Central Michigan under new head coach Jim McElwain with an opportunity in front of him. A highly touted high school prospect, Pimpleton could become the No. 1 wide receiver for the Chippewas and put up some nice numbers.
