Opting out to prep for draft
Henderson announced via Twitter that he will opt out the remainder of the season to prepare for the 2021 NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
Louisiana Tech has had their last three games moved due to spiking COVID-19 cases. Henderson decided his best move would be to just opt out and turn his attention to a professional career. This leaves more opportunities for the rest of the season for Israel Tucker and Greg Garner to contribute in the backfield.

2020 Fantasy Outlook
Henderson came up big for fantasy players, and for the Bulldogs, during the middle of the 2019 season. Over the course of seven games he rushed for 14 touchdowns. However, he finished with 15 rushing scores total after cooling off down the stretch. Henderson will be the lead back for Louisiana Tech again, with Israel Tucker serving as his primary backup. It will be interesting to see how the offense looks now that J’Mar Smith will no longer be the quarterback. That’s especially true given that Smith had 100 carries himself. If the new quarterback runs the ball less, it could mean more carries for Henderson. Could it mean more touchdowns too?
