J.P. Holtz

Holtz is the team’s starting tight end, after splitting reps, and nearly identical stats, with Drew Carswell a season ago , but Carswell was dismissed from the team in the offseason. That doesn't necessarily mean Holtz will emerge as the clear-cut leader at tight end, however, because Wisconsin transfer Manassah Garner is a better athlete and has earned praise since arriving at Pittsburgh.
