Borregales announced Sunday via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to join Miami (Fla.) as a graduate transfer for the 2020 season.

Borregales will continue his playing career within the Sunshine State after moving on from Florida International, where he converted on 21 of his 29 field-goal attempts and 37 of his 39 extra-point attempts during his redshirt junior season. He will be eligible immediately for the Hurricanes and will be in competition with Camden Price, Turner Davidson and Bubba Baxa for kicking duties.
