Ta'amu completed 8-of-17 passes for 87 yards and a pick Saturday against Mississippi State.
ANALYSIS
Ta'amu fell flat in his final game for the Rebels, failing to pass for at least 100 yards for the first time in 2018. The standout MSU defense held him to under 50-percent of passes completed for the game as well. Still, Taamu finishes a stellar 2018 campaign for an underperforming team with 3,918 yards passing and 19 touchdown tosses, as compared to eight interceptions.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
Most people were ready to write off Ole Miss after Shea Patterson went down with a knee injury until Ta'amu stepped in and didn't miss a bit. The former JUCO star was actually more accurate (66.5 percent) and efficient (9.7 YPA) than his predecessor and now has a full offseason working as the starter. Ta'amu has the advantage of playing in the second-most pass-heavy system in the SEC and the Rebels boast the SEC's best receiving corps to go with an elite offensive line. Combine all those factors along with natural improvement from Ta'amu himself and we see a quarterback poised for a big year.
