There's really nothing much left to be said about Manziel at this point, and it's difficult to overstate the extent of his dominance. After surprisingly beating Jameill Showers in the competition to start for A&M, Manziel went on to have one of the best college football seasons ever, throwing for 3,706 yards (8.5 YPA), 26 touchdowns and nine interceptions in 13 games and running for 1,410 yards (7.0 YPC) and 21 touchdowns in 13 games. He did this despite playing in a new offensive system and playing on a team that essentially had Big 12 personnel in its first season in the SEC. If you have the first pick, you have to take Manziel.
