Leaving after junior season
January 4, 2019
Arcega-Whiteside will forego his final season of eligibility and has declared for the NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
The Stanford wide receiver was one of the best in the nation in only his junior season, finishing tied for third with 14 touchdowns and 22nd with 1,059 receiving yards. After his impressive campaign, he has decided to turn pro and try his hand at the NFL rather than play his final season with the Cardinal. In two seasons with Stanford, he had 1,840 receiving yards, a good barometer for a high ceiling professionally.
