Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2022
Brown carried the ball 166 times for 948 yards and eight touchdowns in 2022…and he was the secondary running back for the Blazers. DeWayne McBride was one of the top backs in college football, toting the rock 233 times for 1,713 yards and 19 touchdowns. He’s in the NFL now, though, and Brown is the lead back for a team that had two guys carry the ball over 160 times. In 2021, also in the secondary role, Brown had 123 carries for 631 yards and seven scores. This is an offense where the lead back can expect the ball at least 20 times a game. That’s 240 carries across 12 games, and that would presumably yield over 1,000 rushing yards. Brown won’t inherently replicate McBride’s numbers, but if he can simply take his production and translate that to more carries, clearly he is going to put up some robust numbers.
