Jones led the Jaguars in receptions (45), receiving yards (513), and touchdowns (7) last season, and could be looking at a bigger role in 2013. While nearly every key member of the South Alabama passing game is returning, Jones would be one of the most likely to benefit if the distribution of targets changes. Seven Jaguars caught at least 17 passes last season, but none caught more than Jones’ 45. Perhaps the targets will be evenly distributed again in 2013, but if not, Jones could emerge as the lead dog in a passing game with limited upside.
